That harness bar will work great for you but to be honest, it's not absolutely necessary. You can simply drill holes and bolt the mounts to the chassis as long as you use a proper backing plate to reinforce the mount. That should be enough to keep you in your seat in autocross. Of course, if you did have money to spend the proper way would be to put in a roll bar w/ harness bar, a proper cam or latch style locking 5 or 6 point harness and an approved racing seat. However, I understand that not everyone can spend the money on all of this. I am of the opinion that everyone should go out and learn how to learn performance driving no matter what their budget. Racing isn't as exclusive a hobby that many would lead you to believe.
